Booklist 2026 (Writer’s Room)

Yeah, we are halfway through 2026, but we’ve already established I’ve had a mid-year creativity surge and all my brilliant ideas are coming out now!

If you don’t already know, I facilitate a writing community using Buy Me a Coffee.

Every week I post exclusive content for cosy writers. In this group, reading widely is HIGHLY encouraged. I share my private annotations from all the books I’ve read and create unique and fun writing tasks for you to try.

I’ve now realised it would actually be super helpful to share all the books coming up in 2026 so y’all know in advance.

For the first half of 2026, we focused on 2 picture books per month, and 1 longer chapter book every 2 months.

That’s changing.

This is what you’re getting from now on (and it’s even better):

  1. One picture book (shows high-impact storytelling in a condensed way)

  2. One post featuring my notes from The Qur’an (connecting your writing to a higher purpose, as well as taking writing lessons from The Greatest Author)

  3. One post offering advice to combat a writer’s greatest trials

  4. One longer book (spanning two months and showing you how to expand ideas with greater depth and push you out of your comfort zone)

To help me announce the rest of the books for this year, I would like to introduce you to my wonderful writing companion, Sgaeyl. She sits by my laptop and is a physical reminder of WHY I write and WHAT I want to write. I’m seriously considering making her the Epic Writing mascot.

Anyway, let’s go…

(remember, the longer chapter books will last for 2 months)

Just make sure you pick Community Companion if you want to attend the meet-ups!

Until next time,

Khadijah :)
